Lull:

I want to get out
of this silhouette town
It's roads and pubs
Black dragging down,

The same old faces,
An old flame,
Become undone laces,
And a wound, ancient stain;

This bubble of energy,
A reflection of me
Lost in the sea;
Ether and foam,
Both pulling me home...

I usually hate rhyming poems but this is so good. I especially liked the middle stanza. I think I know how you feel. Familiarity can be...suffocating. Really good!
